Penn summer courses are courses taken at the University of Pennsylvania during the summer term.

• Students who think they may need to take summer courses in order to graduate on time should talk with their pre-major advisor or College Contact to determine if the additional courses are necessary. 
• Students are advised to check with Penn Student Financial Aid to determine if they are eligible for summer aid. The cost of Penn summer courses can be found on the Penn Summer page.
• Penn summer course can be used to fulfill College requirements. The same designations and policies apply as during the academic year.

Note: Students also have the opportunity to take summer courses at an institutions other than Penn. This is referred to as Credit Away.
