List of Minors
Although not required, many College students choose to complete one or more minors.
In addition to bringing an element of cohesion to free electives, minors enable students to pursue secondary areas of interest, develop a knowledge base and skills that complement their major, express themselves in a creative area that is or will likely become an avocation or learn more about themselves and/or their heritage.
A minor generally requires approximately half the number of courses as are required for a major in the same field.
Please note that not all College major programs offer a corresponding minor.
* Interschool Minors: The College cooperates with other schools to offer several joint minor programs to allow students to pursue intellectual interests that link various professional disciplines to the arts and sciences. Students interested in these programs should pay special attention to the Policies Governing Minors.
