Prospective Students

Leadership and Mentoring

Our world is in need of wise leaders. The College of Arts and Sciences provides the type of education that will enable students like you to grow into leaders for the 21st century. Through specific initiatives like the College Alumni Mentoring Series and the Fox Leadership program, students have opportunities to meet and be inspired by College alumni in positions of leadership in the worlds of business, media, government, non-profits, and education. Other ways in which our students learn leadership is through the curriculum. Whether discussing bioethics in a freshman seminar, or learning how to address audiences in a Communication within the Curriculum (CWiC) course, students are constantly exposed to the important issues of our day, and the ways in which to engage them.
