Course Description:

This course will take a biological approach to the study of human sexuality. We will cover topics ranging from the anatomy and physiology of the human reproductive system to the cognitive systems that underpin human sexual behavior. Throughout, there will be an emphasis on the relationship between the features of these physical and cognitive mechanisms and the evolutionary functions these systems were designed to serve.

There will be three exams: two midterms and a final. The midterms will each be worth 30% of the grade, and the final will be worth 40% of the grade.
