Academic Goals: I have not yet declared a major, I have become very interested in Political Science and Sociology as two paths I'd like to explore - although, as a freshman, that is subject to change! Both appeal to me as ways to understand people, societies, and the dynamics of government. As for study abroad, I would like to participate in either the Washington Semester or the Oxford Study Abroad program.

Interests Outside the Classroom:
Besides PCAB, I work as a Program Assistant at the Kelly Writer's House and participate in the Issues and Advertising Committee for our Penn chapter of Amnesty International. I am currently in the application process to be a Big Sister in Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, and would like to write for one of our many student publications in the near future.

Involvement in the Pilot Curriculum Advisory Board: As I've related to many people, I think the best concept of the Pilot Curriculum is the structure of cross-disciplinary classes centered around an idea. I think these courses are indicative of a necessary trend in higher education, and it is this facet of the Pilot that I would like to emphasize as beneficial to faculty and students as a member of the Board.
