




Students may apply for funds by November 1, February 1 or May 1 each year. Preference will be given to students who are presenting or who have contributed to a paper being presented at an academic conference.
To Apply, students should submit:
1. A one-page proposal outlining the nature of the conference, the level of their participation and the nature of their paper (if applicable);
2. A letter of support from the undergraduate chair or program director in the student's major.
Both items should be sent by the deadline. The respective deadlines are: September 20, November 1, February 2 or May 1. Applications should be addressed to:

Selection Process
A committee will review the applications and inform selected students by October 1, November 15, February 15 or May 15 (depending on the submission cycle).
Reimbursement
Students should complete a Request for Reimbursement Form and the Statement of Business Connection Form and return them with original receipts to:

Note: Travel claims must be submitted within 30 days of a student's return.
Only original passenger receipt coupons from airline tickets or train/bus fare stubs are acceptable. Credit card receipts do not qualify as proper documentation.
