Minor in Landscape Studies

The minor in Landscape Studies focuses on the role of the landscape in the cultural imagination, on its legibility as a representation of political, social, artistic, and environmental values, and on its potential to both reflect and change our ideas about relationships between the natural world and society. The program is the joint effort of three departments:

• • History of Art (SAS)
• • Earth and Environmental Science (SAS)

Open to all undergraduate students, the minor offers both a studio and a liberal arts concentration.
