Honors & Awards

The College and the University recognize students and faculty for their outstanding achievements.

Penn students can choose to apply for a variety of special academic programs that will structure their time as an undergraduate in particular ways. Students may apply as an incoming or continuing student to a number of scholars programs such as the Integrated Studies Program, University Scholars or Civic Scholars for Community Engagement. Beyond the scholars programs, outstanding students may compete for academic awards, fellowships, and scholarship for post-baccalaureate study. The Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CURF) is an excellent resource for students interested in either the research scholars programs or the fellowship opportunities available to College students.

College students may nominate outstanding faculty for teaching awards. In addition, College students may be nominated to receiveone of the many recognitions and prizes awarded for outstanding work in the College of Arts and Sciences.
