Students in the Class of 2009 and earlier have the option of using a Distributional course as one of the two courses in the Society, History and Tradition, and Arts and Letters sectors.

Distributional courses are indicated as such in the Course Timetable every semester. It is important to note that only one of the two courses required in each sector may be a Distributional course. The other course must come from the appropriate sector list.

Distributional courses may not be used to satisfy the Sector Requirement for students in the Class of 2010 and later.
