Policies Governing Writing Seminars
Freshmen are encouraged to take a Critical Writing Seminar during their first year.
Freshmen are admitted to English 125 and 135 by permission only (portfolio required for English 125).
With the exception of English 135, all of the Writing Seminars fulfill the College Writing Requirement. Courses that satisfy the Writing Requirement do not fulfill any other College requirement.
