Dr. Niel McDowell, Associate Director of Academic Advising, edits the College's student and advisor handbooks; oversees CaseNet, the College's academic support and crisis management team; and advises students on all academic issues. He also oversees the leave of absence and return from leave processes in the College. Dr. McDowell received his Ph.D. in German from the University of Pennsylvania and has research interests in late medieval and early modern medical history and popular culture.
