With over 50 majors and hundreds of co-curricular activities, the College of Arts and Sciences attracts students with countless interests, viewpoints and dreams. We are a community that values diversity of background, socioeconomic status, and thought. You don't have to think the same as the student sitting next to you in Political Science 001, but chances are you will have much to discuss together based on that day's stimulating lecture. You will encounter diverse interactions in dining halls, on athletic fields and in concert halls that will challenge the way you think about yourself and the world. You will learn as much from your fellow students as you will from your formal classes. This is why we need people like you here.
