The people in the College of Arts and Sciences give the school its character. The school attracts world-renowned faculty, amazingly motivated students, and talented staff from around the world. As a result of this combination, there's a tangible energy on Locust Walk, in the classrooms, in the College Houses and dining halls, and on our stages.
Our students will be the first to tell you that many of them didn't know what they wanted to do with the rest of their lives when they arrived at Penn. They came to college to experience all of these interactions, to engage in the classroom and the community, and to conduct research.
